Pioneer Investments Names Two New Research Analysts

Pioneer Investments has appointed Martin Dolan and Michael Morris as senior research analysts within its European equity research team, based in Dublin. Dolan joins Pioneer's European equity research team as a senior equity analyst focusing on consumer staples, and Morris joins the team as a senior equity analyst focusing on the materials sector. Both report to Diego Franzin, head of equities in Europe. Dolan, with more than 20 years’ experience covering European consumer stocks, joins Pioneer Investments from Execution/Espirito Santo Investment Bank, where he was responsible for the combined sector coverage of food producers, beverages and home and personal care. He also held the role of head of equity research for the strategic and day-to-day management of the equity research department. Before that, Dolan held various roles at a number of investment banks including Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch and Credit Suisse. Morris, with more than 19 years’ experience in researching and advising on materials companies, joins Pioneer Investments from JP Morgan Cazenove, where he was head of construction and building materials. In this role, he was responsible for the strategic analysis of the industry, managing a global team of 12 analysts. Morris previously held positions at Old Mutual Securities and HSBC Investment. Pioneer Investments is a subsidiary of Italian banking giant UniCredit.
